ZMB is working towards offering an important service in the natural gas industry as it is acquiring shares in storage projects. Customer-tailored supply security is gaining importance as natural gas consumption in Europe is constantly growing. This applies both to balancing seasonal differences between supply capacity and current demand and to optimally providing natural gas during consumption peaks.
Together with Centrex Europe Energy&Gas AG, ZMB GmbH has established ZMB Gasspeicher Holding GmbH to acquire, hold and administer shareholdings in gas storage companies.
ZMB holds 66.7 % in this company.
